Pizza Rustica with Rovagnati Mortdella

Delicious Rovagnati Mortadella is the perfect blend of lightness and flavour making it a delicious ingredient to any pizza or sandwhich. Check out this rustic pizza recipe using our Rovagnati mortadella, burrata, cherry tomatoes and pistachio shavings!

Products used for this recipe


450 g burrata cheese
400 g of already risen pizza dough
300 g of red and yellow cherry tomatoes
200 g of Rovagnati Mortadella
1 tbsp pistachio shavings
to taste olive oil
to taste salt & pepper
basil leaves for garnish


First, Gently roll out the pre-risen pizza dough, pressing with your fingertips from the inside out.

Cover it with a cloth and let it rest at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat overn to 400°. Once the dough is rested, drizzle olive oil over top and bake in the oven for about 15 minutes, until golden and crisp.

Once the pizza is ready, spread the burrata cheese on top and add the quartered cherry tomatoes and slices of mortadella.

Garnish with a few basil leaves, a pinch of pepper and salt and the chopped pistachios. Pop it back in the oven for 1-2 minutes, Serve warm and enjoy!
